Special Awards

Diversity & Inclusion Award

  • Recognition of the hard work of the team
  • Eligibility: Best-performing first-time team led by and with majority members from underrepresented groups in AI/ML
  • Note: This award aligns with NeurIPS Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DIA) guidelines. For this reason, it is not associated with a cash prize.

Prize Distribution

  • All cash prizes are sponsored by Meta
  • Travel support includes economy airfare, standard accommodation, and conference registration
  • Prizes will be distributed to the team leader, who is responsible for internal team distribution
  • Teams must comply with all competition rules to be eligible for prizes

Terms and Conditions

  • Teams must submit valid, reproducible code to be eligible for prizes
  • Solutions must comply with all competition rules and ethical guidelines (see Rules)
  • The organizing committee’s decisions are final in all matters related to the competition
  • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other benefits
  • Participants must adhere to NeurIPS’s Code of Conduct
  • Organizing team members and their immediate collaborators are ineligible for prizes
  • Prize distribution is subject to applicable laws and regulations
  • The organizing committee reserves the right to verify all submissions
